I have only used one other laser measure in my life so I don't have a lot to compare this with but I will say one feature I like from this is that when you measure distances, it keeps the last three distances on the screen. The meter itself is super simple to use and easy to read. There is a backlit display so that you can read it easily in the daytime or when it is dark.
One feature that I find pretty useful is the add and subtract buttons. With this you can add or subtract from any measurement taken
There are two Pythagorean functions (height of an object and height of a building while standing on a hill).
I already know how to use these so the instructions are not an issue for me but I glanced through them and find that they are pretty good instructions (Youtube has a lot of videos that show you how to use one of these as well).
Overall I think the most impressive thing about this is the price. It is one of the cheapest that I have seen.
Oh yeah... and this comes with its own batteries. Yay!
